The approach
Restoring Body Harmony After Pregnancy
Pregnancy and breastfeeding can change the body in ways diet and exercise cannot always reverse. The abdominal muscles may separate, excess skin may remain, and the breasts can lose volume, firmness or position. A Mommy Makeover is not a single standardized procedure but a customized combination selected around the changes each woman has experienced.
Dr. Leandro Junqueira evaluates how the abdomen, breasts and surrounding contours relate to one another and builds a plan that may include abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction and liposuction, performed together or staged depending on your health and the extent of surgery involved.
Why patients choose it
Abdominal Wall Restoration
Diastasis recti repair addresses muscle separation left by pregnancy, alongside excess skin removal.
Breast Volume and Position
Augmentation, lift, or a combination of the two restores shape and position changed by breastfeeding.
Refined Waist and Body Contour
Liposuction smooths transitions between the abdomen, waist, flanks and back.
One Coordinated Recovery
When appropriate, combining procedures can mean one anaesthetic and one consolidated recovery period.
Individually Planned
There is no standard package. Every combination is selected according to your own anatomy and priorities.
Safety Led Sequencing
When a combination would be unnecessarily extensive, procedures are staged rather than rushed into one operation.

What a Mommy Makeover Can Include
Every plan is different. These are the procedures most commonly combined, selected according to your anatomy and goals.
Abdominoplasty
Repairs diastasis recti and removes excess abdominal skin, often the foundation of the plan.
Breast Augmentation or Lift
Restores volume, position or both, depending on whether volume loss or sagging is the primary concern.
Breast Reduction
For patients whose breasts remain disproportionately large or heavy after pregnancy.
Liposuction & Body Contouring
Refines the waist, flanks and back for smoother transitions between treated areas.

Mommy Makeover FAQ
There is no fixed package. A Mommy Makeover typically combines abdominoplasty with a breast procedure, such as augmentation, lift or reduction, and often liposuction, selected according to the changes you have experienced after pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Combining procedures offers one anaesthetic and one recovery period, but safety always comes first. If the proposed combination would make surgery unnecessarily long or complex, Dr. Leandro Junqueira may recommend staging the procedures instead.
It is generally best to wait until you have completed breastfeeding and your weight has stabilized. Whenever possible, it is also preferable to consider surgery after you have completed your family, since another pregnancy can alter the results.
There is no single fixed cost, since every combination of procedures is different. An accurate surgical plan and quotation can only be provided after a consultation and examination with Dr. Leandro Junqueira.
Recovery depends on which procedures are combined, with the abdominal component generally setting the pace when muscle repair is included. Most patients need a couple of weeks of rest before easing back into daily activity, with full recovery continuing over several months.
